The first European establishment of the Asian chain Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, the Shangri-La Paris opened its doors on December 17, 2010 in the former mansion of Prince Roland Bonaparte, entirely renovated by architect Richard Martinet and decorated by Pierre-Yves Rochon.
It offers 100 rooms (47 m² on average) including 36 suites (from 50 to 300 m²) with exceptional views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine.
The hotel has four food and beverage outlets:
- Le Shang Palace, renowned for its cuisine offering a culinary journey into haute Chinese gastronomy.
- La Bauhinia, blending classic French cuisine with Asian-inspired dishes.
- Bar Botaniste, offering a selection of botanically inspired cocktails.
- The Lounges, a veritable meeting place for Parisians.
The establishment also features Chi, Le Spa with a 17-meter pool, 4 treatment rooms, in collaboration with the Alaena and Innerskin brands, and a fitness room.
On October 31, 2019, the Shangri-La Paris was once again awarded the "palace" distinction.
