Champs-Élysées Film Festival - Affiche 2025

This year again, for its 14th edition, the Champs-Elysées Film Festival is dedicated to young independent French and American film-makers with a bold programme open to all: 8 days of feature and short film competition with votes from the public and the juries, as well as live concerts and a few surprises.

In the most famous theatres on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris...

The Festival takes place in six legendary cinemas on the very film-loving Avenue des Champs-Élysées: PublicisCinémas, the Mac-Mahon cinema, the Balzac, the Club de l'Étoile, the Théâtre du Rond-Point and the Théâtre du Lido. It is one of the unmissable events on the Parisian calendar, and intends to mark 2025 with an ambitious edition.

The official competitions, judged by professional juries, are open to the public for a unique experience that rewards independent French and American feature films and short films. The critics' prize will also be awarded to French and American feature films.

… for an exceptional panorama of current independent French and American films!

For this 2025 edition, the official selection includes American feature films, French feature films, American short films and French short films. Not to mention a fine programme of retrospectives and thematic programmes.

2025 programme of the Champs-Élysées Film Festival

The Champs-Élysées Film Festival returns in 2025 with an edition full of promise and premieres! At the helm of the juries: two strong figures of auteur cinema, Alice Winocour (feature film jury) and Jonathan Millet (short film jury). Flore Benguigui, Thibaut de Longeville, Uèle Lamore and Florent Gouëlou make up the short film jury. And to kick off the festivities in style, a great first: the opening night will be held at the legendary Lido theatre, with the crazy parody show Titanique. An ultra-select event by invitation only... but good news: you can win two tickets via a competition on Instagram.

This 14th edition also pays exceptional tribute to Marilyn Monroe, the festival's emblematic muse for more than a decade. A screening of the cult film The Misfits and an unprecedented conference celebrate her legend. As for the programme, the French and American short and medium-length films in competition will be unveiled in mid-April, followed in early June by feature films and previews in the presence of the teams. And as always, the evenings will be ignited to the rhythm of live concerts on the rooftop of the Publicis.

The indie guest of honour at this 14th edition is American director Emma Seligman, whose two films Shiva Baby and Bottoms will be screened. A masterclass with Emma Seligman is also on the programme!

Sébastien Betbeder's film L'Incroyable Femme des Neiges, starring Blanche Gardin, will be screened in its French premiere at this 14th edition, in the presence of the film's crew.

Céline Song's film Materialists, starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal, will close the 2025 edition at the closing ceremony on Monday 23 June! This is its French premiere.

See you in June for a week of cinema and celebration in the heart of Paris!

2025 Official Competition for Medium-Length and Short Films

In the presence of the film crews, the medium-length films include Au Bain des dames by Margaux Fournier (world premiere) and Khmerica by Thibaut Amri and Antoine Guide (French premiere).
