More than 50,000 bikes are available for hire from Vélib' Métropole', Lime, Dott and the many other rental companies in Paris.
The Vélib' self-service bicycle network offers more than 21,000 bicycles for hire, 40% of which are electrically assisted.
A total of 30,000 bikes are available for hire from these operators, who are also present in other European cities.

20,000 guarded cycle parking spaces will be available so that you can enjoy the Games by bike with complete peace of mind. These car parks will be open to individual and self-service bicycles (Lime and Dott). Vélib' users will benefit from special car parks.
For the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Vélib' is setting up temporary stations in the immediate vicinity of the competition and celebration sites, in addition to the existing stations!
14 stations will be in operation, providing a total of 3,600 spaces:
Colombes: Yves-du-Manoir stadium, 300 places (only available for the Olympic Games)

In the Île-de-France region, you can travel with your bike on the Transilien lines H, J, K, L, N, P, R and U as well as the RER lines A, B, C, D and E. Bicycles can be taken off-peak Monday to Friday, before 6.30 am, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm and after 7.30 pm, as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays with no timetable restrictions, subject to available space on the trains.
