A worthy successor to FIAC, the Paris + Art Basel art fair will take place for the first time under the verrière du Grand Palais, from October 18 to 20. 194 French and international galleries from 42 countries will be on hand to highlight all forms of art, including works rarely exhibited to the public, and offer a more inclusive reading of creation and art history. The show is organized into several areas: the main sector, “Galleries”, showcases famous French and international galleries; the second, “Emergence”, brings together young emerging artists and galleries; and finally, the new “Preview” sector unveils atypical projects, including works created before 1990.
The Grand Palais is due to reopen to the public in its entirety in spring 2025.
