Art lovers take note: Art Basel Paris is taking over the Grand Palais this autumn. This modern and contemporary art fair features a selection of 195 galleries from 42 countries and territories, 64 of which have spaces in France, presenting high-quality works of art ranging from painting and video to sculpture, installations, photography and digital art. Young artists presenting solo exhibitions are also supported thanks to 16 galleries in the Emergence sector. With Art Basel Paris, the aim is to build a flagship event in the cultural life of Paris, by building bridges to other French cultural industries such as fashion, design, cinema and music. With the support of Miu Miu, a free programme of exhibitions and installations open to all is taking place in the heart of the city: at the Palais d'Iéna, on the forecourt of the Institut de France, at the Beaux-Arts de Paris - Chapelle des Petits-Augustins, on Place Vendôme and in five new venues including the Petit Palais and the national estate of the Palais-Royal.
