Cabarets in Chaillot: a Major Gathering of the Paris Cabaret Scene

From September 24 to 26, 2026, Chaillot - Théâtre national de la Danse - will bring together Paris’s most famous cabarets and contemporary dance for three exceptional days of performances, immersive experiences, and free workshops

On September 24, 25, and 26, 2026, Chaillot - Théâtre national de la Danse - will open its doors wide to the full diversity of cabaret for a one-of-a-kind event bringing together historic institutions and contemporary figures of the genre. From the traditional French Cancan to queer performances, including transformism, revue, burlesque striptease, and socially conscious poetry, this exceptional event highlights 150 years of a living heritage that is constantly reinventing itself. On the program: evening shows on September 24 and 25, 2026, featuring unique, pre-planned itineraries that allow audience members to wander through the theater and encounter the big names of Parisian cabaret: the Moulin Rouge, the Crazy Horse Paris, Madame Arthur, La Nouvelle Eve, Artishow, Au Lapin Agile, Le Cabaret de Poussière, La Bouche, Les Meneuses, Les Sea Girls, Vénus Noire, Oh! César Paris, Tease Tease Tease Cabaret, Chez Michel Forever, and La Barbichette. Following these two evenings, join us on Saturday, September 26, in the afternoon for a lineup of free, interactive events: workshops (makeup workshop, screen-printing workshop…), meet-and-greets (artists from the Moulin Rouge…), and karaoke with Michel Forever. This flagship event is at the heart of the very first “Cabaret Season,” a national initiative launched and supported by the Ministry of Culture to celebrate the influence of this popular art form throughout the country.
