Initiated and supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Cabaret Season celebrates the art of cabaret across France. For three months, this event showcases a living, festive and socially engaged cultural heritage, blending traditional craftsmanship, freedom of expression and contemporary creativity.
To complement the festivities, don’t miss the free open-air photography exhibition Cabaret(s) - History of a Living Tradition. Freely accessible on the railings of the Square du Temple - Elie Wiesel (Paris 3rd arrondissement) from 22 September to 18 December 2026, it traces, through images, the memory and ongoing reinvention of these legendary venues.

To mark this unique event at Chaillot - Théâtre national de la Danse, the cabaret scene is showcased in all its diversity, from traditional revues to contemporary forms.
This festive journey brings together the capital’s major revues and iconic venues, from the legendary French Cancan at the Moulin Rouge to the light shows at the Crazy Horse Paris, via the music-hall spirit of La Nouvelle Eve and the tradition of dinner-theatre at Oh! César by César Palace Paris. The itinerary gives pride of place to drag performances, transformism and burlesque, thanks to the reinterpretations of the drag scene at the Cabaret Club Madame Arthur, the stage performances at the Artishow Cabaret, and the poetic striptease acts at the Cabaret de Poussière and La Bouche. French musical heritage and chanson are also in the spotlight with the historic cabaret Au Lapin Agile, alongside numerous roaming troupes and collectives such as Les Meneuses, Les Sea Girls, Vénus Noire, Tease Tease Tease Cabaret, Chez Michel Forever and La Barbichette.
