At Saint-Germain-des-Prés, near to Mabillon metro station, there is no shortage of top venues. The {Grain}s dining cellar offers a selection of sakés and wines in a warm atmosphere. The Bar du Marché, the BDM for those ‘in the know’, attracts a mixed crowd of Parisians and visitors and reflects the France of old with its red and white checked tablecloths.

As well as having a drink, you can also sample delicious finger food. At the weekend, these bars become dance clubs with guest DJs.
The Compagnie des vins surnaturels, situated behind the Marché Saint-Germain, is a wine bar serving light meals. Comfortable and cosy, it is ideal for a quiet chat.
