43 rue de Seine - 75006 Paris
Musée d'Orsay - Saint-Germain-des-Prés
La Palette is a typically Parisian bistro situated in the 6th arrondissement. The pretty, sunny and flowery terrace makes it one of the nicest places in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Its facade and one of the two rooms are listed as historical monuments. The inside is decorated with paintings and ceramics from the 1930s. Traditionally a place for students from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and Parisian gallery owners and artists to gather, it has welcomed illustrious personalities such as Picasso, Braque, Jim Morrison and even Ernest Hemingway. And more recently, Julia Roberts and Harrison Ford. The menu is simple but perfect for those who want to grab a quick bite to eat.
