All year round, Parisian swimming pools offer lots of facilities and fun for families. Swimming lessons, team sports and aqua gym. A refreshing option in summer weather. Paris also has forty or so pools some of which boast unusual decor.

Ice rinks for families

Fancy a spin on the ice? During the winter, Paris offers temporary ice rinks where you can glide around with your kids.
And for those who like to ice skate in summer, the Sonja Henie ice-skating rink at the AccorHotels Arena and the Pailleron sports area with its 800 square metres of ice welcome visitors all year round.

In Paris, the Berges de Seine riverside promenade has a great variety of activities for all the family. Racing lanes, climbing wall, games marked out on the ground, and yoga provide fun and amusement right in the heart of Paris. For nautical and aquatic activities in Paris and Île-de-France, you will find a great selection on the Spotyride platform.

Since 2005, the Famillathlon has been inviting families to come and try out different sporting activities. This one-day highly colourful and festive event takes place every September in the Champs de Mars and promotes social solidarity, health and of course the positive values of sport.

Outdoor activity centres to discover near Paris

Just on the outskirts of Paris, kids can enjoy the natural environment at various outdoor activity centres. With artificial lakes for swimming, sailing activities, white-water courses, barbecues and tennis lessons … the idea is sure to win the approval of all the family.

And for those keen to simply row a boat or go for a cycle ride (for hire) with the family, then the Bois de Boulogne or the Bois de Vincennes are the places to go to for a breath of fresh air in a wooded setting
