Many of Paris’s artisan ice-cream makers use locally sourced and organic produce to create the finest, top-quality flavours.

In the 4th arrondissement, Maison Berthillon offers icecreams and sorbets in over 70 flavours. Established in 1954 by the Berthillon family, who still own and run the business today, this venerable house maintains a proud tradition of artisan production, making icecreams and their famous speciality icecream cakes in their Parisian atelier. Try the Glace Tatin (caramelised apple), the Glace Belle Hélène (pear and chocolate), the Gobelet Coffret Cocktail (with strawberries, raspberries or peaches), their famous Bombes Glacées Opéra (chocolate with a coffee heart), and many more!

In the 6th arrondissement, Maison Christine Champault creates delicious ice creams from locally sourced produce, using eco-friendly methods thanks to their bespoke production process. Icecreams, sorbets and iced yoghurts are made ‘just in time’ at their Paris workshop, for exceptional flavour and freshness you can taste!

Opened in 1947, Raimo icecreams were first and foremost a family affair, until 2008 when a new, young team took the helm at this iconic, eastern Paris institution. Today, Raimo offers 150 icecream flavours in mini-pots and cups, together with icecream cakes. Original, contemporary favourites include yuzu, lychee, chestnut or vine peach (mango melon). Located in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, Raimo offers a complete range of artisan, organic icecreams to enjoy on the spot or take away.

Family owned and run since its inception, Bachir is Paris’s first icecream maker to serve 100% organic scoops and nothing but! Bachir’s ices are made using organic produce and traditional Lebanese methods. Based in the 4th arrondissement, their wide range of flavours includes gianduja (chocolate and hazelnut), Madagascar vanilla, pink grapefruit and melon, a stone’s throw from the Centre Pompidou and Les Halles-Châtelet.
