In Paris, several bars have an intimate atmosphere. They are great places for a quiet drink and chat. With its colonial decor, Le Fumoir, in the 1st arrondissement, welcomes customers for a drink. Books and board games are available to while away the time.

Under the arcades of the Louvre, the famous Café Marly is also a pleasant place with a unique setting. From the terrace, you can admire the Louvre pyramid and the Tuileries Gardens.

A marvellous backcloth against which to enjoy a drink amidst modern and classical architecture. In the 6th arrondissement, Lapérouse is a celebrated bar and gastronomic restaurant. The reception rooms with their magnificent frescos and wood panelling plunge guests into the heart of the 18th century.

Fans of chic wine bars will love the Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, behind Marché Saint-Germain. It has comfortable sofas, a carved marble fireplace, 3,000 quality wines and a laid-back atmosphere.

In the Haut-Marais, La Candelaria is the district’s cosy bar. Once through the door of this tacos restaurant, clients find themselves in the bar with its soft lighting and warm atmosphere. Original house cocktails and DJ music have made this place extremely popular.
