Typically Parisian bistros such as Le Mauri7 and Chez Jeannette, have become the base for a generation of bobos in their 30s appreciating both the district and the atmosphere of the old PMU bars. Situated opposite each other in rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, they each have a terrace that is usually throng with people.
Equally bobo, Le Floréal, situated at Goncourt – a few steps from Saint-Martin Canal – also attracts a young crowd. Strong points: New York- inspired decor and large raised terrace.
