This famous brasserie on Place de Clichy (75018) was a hundred years old in 1992! A century later, the little bistro has become the well-known brasserie that it is today: Picasso, Modigliani and Truffaut all frequented the place. This 100-cover brasserie is open all day every day from 8am to 1am, and specializes in seafood platters: oysters (the star of the show) prawns, clams, whelks ...it's all there! Among other house specialities, the 'Reisling braised beef cheek', 'Steamed ray fish fillet, fresh beans with ginger' and the 'paysanne sauerkraut'. In 2006, Wepler was recognized for its culinary work and was awarded the 'Tables et Auberges de France' national label.
