L’Avant-Goût in the Butte aux Cailles area is a contemporary bistro drawing neighbourhood regulars and food lovers from all over the French capital. Christophe and Rufine Beaufront have run the restaurant since 1996. Having previously worked with celebrity chef Guy Savoy, Beaufort concocts flavourful French dishes with an inventive touch. And since the menu changes frequently, regulars always have something new to look forward to. The house speciality is pork pot-au-feu with spices.
