The Café de Flore is one of two cafes, with its eternal neighbour the two maggots, legendary venues in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. In this beautiful art deco room or on the terrace which opens onto the Boulevard Saint-Germain, celebrities cross paths with locals and tourists. Clients come here for a coffee, lunch or dinner. The hot chocolate is one of the house specialities. A hotspot for intellectual Parisians, the Flore holds the Prix de Flore each year, awarding young up-and-coming writers.
