In the sumptuous setting of the Musée Jacquemart-André, Opéra a Palazzo presents a rare experience: Verdi’s *Rigoletto* as an immersive opera in Paris. This drama of passion, betrayal, and revenge comes to life in the grand salons, right up close to the performers. This intimate adaptation, directed by Patrizia Di Paolo, showcases the voices of young French opera talents, accompanied by a trio of piano, violin, and cello, and enhanced by costumes from the Atelier Nicolao in Venice. The evening continues with a glass of Champagne during intermission and a private tour of the museum’s prestigious permanent collection. By eliminating any distance between the stage and the audience, this immersive opera at the Musée Jacquemart-André offers exceptionally intense emotions in the atmosphere of a 19th-century private mansion, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées.
