Whether you're a music lover or a neophyte, let yourself be seduced by the closeness of the artists, who erase distances and let you experience emotions of unprecedented intensity. Opera a Palazzo is an immersive operatic experience produced by Music & Opera Events. Inspired by the famous Venetian evenings of Musica a Palazzo, this unique adventure blends opera and heritage. Two shows are on offer.
La Traviata: in the exceptional setting of the Musée Jacquemart-André, attend Verdi's La Traviata. When the museum closes, the salons come alive to welcome the timeless love story between Violetta and Alfredo. Follow La Traviata as you immerse yourself in the various salons and share a glass of Champagne with Violetta.
Rigoletto: follow the story of Rigoletto in immersion in the Museum's salons, and enjoy a glass of Champagne at intermission. The adaptation created by Musica a Palazzo Venice focuses on the main roles: Rigoletto (baritone), Gilda (soprano), Duca di Mantova (tenor), Sparafucile (bass) and Maddalena (mezzo-soprano). The musical accompaniment is provided by a trio of musicians: piano, violin and cello. The staging, imagined by Patrizia di Paolo, offers an intimate, immersive approach, and the costumes are by Venice's Atelier Nicolao. Take advantage of this exclusive moment for a private tour of the museum's prestigious permanent collection in the salons on the first floor.
