For the first time in its history, the NFL sets foot in France with an exceptional regular-season game at the Stade de France on October 25, 2026.

It’s the announcement all sports fans have been waiting for: Paris is officially joining the NFL International Games schedule. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the French capital will join the very exclusive circle of global cities (such as London, Munich, and Madrid) hosting the prestigious American football league. For this grand debut, the New Orleans Saints will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the field at the Stade de France. More than just a game, this event symbolizes the sport’s meteoric rise in France, as the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics approach—where flag football (the non-contact version) will make its historic debut on the Olympic program. Expect an “American-style” sports spectacle, combining top-level athletic performances, spectacular entertainment, and unprecedented crowd enthusiasm at the Saint-Denis stadium. The must-see halftime show will feature Burna Boy!

🎯 Off-site events

In the run-up to the historic match at the Stade de France, Paris is decked out in NFL colours with a series of free events open to all fans on 23 and 24 October 2026:

  • NFL Experience Paris (presented by Wilson): from flag football at the foot of the Eiffel Tower (Place Jacques-Rueff, Champ-de-Mars). On the programme: introductory sessions with the French American Football Federation (FFFA), technical workshops, demonstrations, challenges, cheerleaders, mascots and musical entertainment provided by DJ Dirty Swift and MC Lucie Agras (open from 10am to 6pm)
  • The Hail Mary Challenge (presented by American Express) : a brand-new challenge involving throwing an American football over the Seine, opposite Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris (between the Port de Montebello and the Promenade Maurice-Carême). The events will be hosted by commentator Florian Gilleron (open to the public on Saturday 24 October from 9m to 3pm)

To mark the very first NFL match in France, an official pop-up store is opening its doors in the heart of the Marais (Galerie Saint-Joseph, 5 rue Saint-Merri, Paris 4th arrondissement) from Monday 19 to Sunday 25 October 2026. Presented by American Express and Fanatics, the NFL Shop offers unique and exclusive collections (Fear of God, Peace Collective Paris, Football x Football, Paris City Collection). The venue also houses the Amex Atelier, an immersive space blending fashion, art and culture, where the iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy is on display from Monday to Wednesday.

With the first-ever NFL regular-season match to be held in France fast approaching, the NFL House Paris, created in partnership with Adobe, will open its doors free of charge on 23 and 24 October 2026 at the Pavillon Cambon Capucines (46 rue Cambon, Paris 1st arrondissement).

On the programme for this immersive event: creative workshops, an introduction to American football, gaming areas, appearances by celebrities, DJ sets, as well as an exhibition of iconic artefacts such as the Vince Lombardi Trophy and 60 Super Bowl rings.

Don’t miss this unique experience in the heart of the capital, perfect for long-time fans and the curious alike.
