New festival of contemporary photography in the museum gardens to continue the visual inventory initiated by Albert Kahn
The Mondes en commun festival returns to the Musée départemental Albert-Kahn. This event, dedicated to contemporary photography, explores the theme of visual inventory, directly echoing the famous Archives de la Planète. For this 2026 edition, 11 photographic series by international artists are deployed in the heart of the Boulogne-Billancourt garden. The itinerary offers fascinating bridges between the historical collections and contemporary writing. As visitors stroll through this exceptional garden setting, they discover how today's photographers are documenting the world's transformations and social issues. The event kicks off on European Museum Night, Saturday May 23, 2026.
