An immersive visit to the heart of the history of Notre-Dame de Paris
‘Éternelle Notre-Dame’ presented in the forecourt of Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral and at the Cité de l'Histoire de la Défense invites you to step back in time and discover Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral and its evolution through a virtual reality tour. This unique immersive experience transports visitors back to the 13th century, when this exceptional monument was built, and retraces its history from the Middle Ages to the present day. A 500 m² space dedicated to the cathedral, its construction (film, photographs) and its heritage (statues, paintings, gold and silverware, etc.) completes the experience.
At the Notre-Dame area: Monday-Sunday, 10am-8pm. At the Cité de l'Histoire: Wednesday-Sunday, 10am-7pm (8pm on Saturdays). Duration of the experience: approximately 1 hour
