Eternal Notre-Dame: the immersive experience

An immersive visit to the heart of the history of Notre-Dame de Paris

"Eternelle Notre-Dame", presented at the Cité de l'Histoire de la Défense, takes visitors back in time to discover Notre-Dame Cathedral and its evolution, thanks to a virtual reality tour. This unique immersive experience takes visitors back to the 13th century, when this exceptional monument was built, and traces its history from the Middle Ages to the present day. A 500 m² area dedicated to the cathedral, its construction site (film, photographs) and its heritage (statues, paintings, goldsmith's and silversmith's pieces...) complete the experience.
