The Office lists below car and scooter rental companies offering models adapted for people with disabilities, in Paris and the surrounding area. The contact details given in the description of each company will enable you to get in touch with them to reserve a vehicle to suit your needs.

You will be offered vehicles that have been adapted to suit the situation of the driver (B licence) or passenger: access ramp, wheelchair mountings, accelerator paddles on the steering wheel and other adjustments to the driving position, etc.

Good to know:

In its rules on how to travel, RATP states:
"RATP is not obliged to provide access for people equipped with an electric wheelchair or mobility scooter that exceeds the load capacity of the 350 kg pallets, and exceeds the overall dimensions of a wheelchair measuring 0.75 m wide x 1.25 m long".
