Unusual places for unusual stays

Sleeping in an ice room at -5°C, spending a night in a secluded former mansion house in Montmartre … Organizing an unusual stay in Paris is becoming easier as hoteliers become more and more inventive in the experiences they offer their guests.

The originality of a place can define the identity of a hotel. The most courageous of clients have had the refreshing experience of staying in the ice room at the Kube - Machefert Group, the temperature of which goes down to minus 5 degrees! Offering a warmer setting, the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre offers the comfort and intimacy of a country house right in a popular tourist area. L'Escale Royale and L'Escale Royale - L'Isle Adam offer unique floating accommodation, offering well-being, romance and escape for an unforgettable experience. For a romantic and original setting, nothing like a night on board the VIP Paris Yacht Hôtel. To live as in the time of Louis XIV, Le Grand Contrôle located within the walls of the Palace of Versailles, will make you live a royal experience of the Age of Enlightenment. Demeures de Campagne Parc du Coudray is a haven of peace in the heart of nature, offering relaxation and a variety of activities such as yoga and sylvotherapy. The château houses an exceptional Spa, while the restaurant serves authentic cuisine using local produce. Situated in the heart of the capital, the boutique hotel Jules & Jim is a trendy address characterized by contemporary art and cultural events.

Jules & Jim

This boutique hotel, in the quiet rue des Gravilliers, in the 3rd arrondissement, is devoted to art and cultural events. The tone is set right from the main entrance with a 15-metre-long photo gallery. Two paved courtyards, one of which has a plant wall, separate the three buildings of the hotel, which comprises one main building and two houses. The 23 bedrooms of the Jules & Jim are in a clean uncluttered style with sober colours. The simple and durable materials used, such as glass, solid wood, stone and concrete emphasize the contemporary character of the place. Each room has a little touch of a Parisian apartment about it. Clients can choose one overlooking the paved courtyard or one overlooking the street.
A library of one hundred or so books and a bar are open to residents and guests passing through. The bar area regularly offers festive and cultural events and DJ sets.
