When out and about in the French capital, who hasn’t noticed the small, colourful ‘space invaders’ stuck to the corners of buildings around the city, most often near the street name plates? This street art project known as ‘World Invasion’ can be found in several cities around the world, including Paris which boasts 1,312 creatures on its walls. Straight out of the Japanese video game released in 1978, these Parisian space invaders are the object of an unusual treasure hunt where players have a scorecard to complete.
