Cinécyclo Tour Greater Paris

This summer, Paris welcomes free bicycle-powered film screenings!

From 19 to 23 July, the Association Cinécyclo and Paris je t’aime invite you to experience five new types of outdoor films.

The principle is simple: spectators are invited to take turns on a bicycle to generate the electricity needed to power a projector and speakers.
This low-tech, autonomous equipment has been tested and approved since 2015 during a series of festive tours in Senegal, South America, and a large number of regions across France, bringing culture to a wide variety of environments in the open air.

During the day, the equipment is transported by bicycle by a partner of Cinécyclo. When the sun goes down, the magic of the cinema begins! Cinécyclo's screenings feature poetic, engaging films designed to question our model of society and present meaningful stories!

This summer, the association Cinécyclo deposits its saddlebags in Greater Paris for five evenings of eclectic programmes that will delight audiences of all ages!
