There’s a whiff of sensuality in the Latin Quarter. Located only a short distance from Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pantheon, the Paradis Latin livens up nights on the Left Bank with its lively, glamorous cabaret shows featuring French can-can. The oldest cabaret in Paris, inaugurated by Napoleon in 1803 and rebuilt by Gustave Eiffel in 1889, celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2019!
Transporting the audience into its modern and sensual universe, the show is avant-garde and skilfully mixes new technologies, glamour and remarkable artistic performances. Since May 2019, the Paradis Latin presents its new show "L’Oiseau Paradis", directed and choreographed by Kamel Ouali, one of the most famous French choreographers. The new leader is the sublime Dièse, finalist of "the Voice" in 2013. This show brings together the most talented dancers, the most surprising special effects and the most sublime costumes in a joyful and playful atmosphere in some fifteen tableaux.
The Paradis Latin has a light-hearted vibe and you’ll spot a smile on every face, both on stage and in the audience. Fun is the watchword. The trademark ‘Paradis’ style – over-the-top, coquettish and teasing – makes an evening at this cabaret an entertaining, sensual and carefree experience.
As soon as the audience arrives, immerse yourself in the magical world of the Paradis Latin with an exceptional pre-show over a glass of champagne or a delicious meal. The food at the Paradis Latin is a major draw: an ample menu, hearty dishes, a well stocked cellar and attentive service contribute to the convivial atmosphere at this show venue.
Besides its revue, the Paradis Latin offers one-off, customized shows for private and corporate events. The cabaret can be hired for up to 700 people, with made-to-measure services provided in this magical setting for a variety of evening functions.
And if you’d like to give cabaret dancing a whirl, why not sign up for a French can-can course?
Several afternoons a week, the Paradis Latin presents the show 'Mon premier Cabaret' (My First Cabaret). Imagined and created by the choreographer Kamel Ouali, "Mon premier Cabaret" brings together 25 artists on the Paradis Latin stage for a show specially designed for families. Your children will love it!
