Air travel and disability, how to get to Paris

Information to facilitate the journeys of people with disabilities travelling to and from Paris by plane

🎯Before you leave

  • Indicate your special needs: People with disabilities are strongly advised to inform the carrier of their needs at the time of booking or at least 48 hours in advance
  • Obtain an INCAD form: the INCAD (Incapacitated Passengers Handling Advice) form to be filled in by your doctor before your flight, are intended for the airline's doctors, who, depending on the declarations, may or may not authorize the journey
  • Accompanying person: for the safety of passengers with disabilities, a travel companion may be required by the airline. Their role will be to assist them in the event of an emergency and/or evacuation from the aircraft

If you are travelling with Air France, you can request the special assistance you need online to make your booking and arrange for assistance during your journey. You can also contact the assistance service for passengers with disabilities by telephone: 09 69 36 72 77 (price of a local call).

🎯Getting to and from Paris and the airports

📌Between Paris and Paris Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport

👉By RER B inter-urban train

The RER B serves two stations at Paris Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport:

  • The ‘Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1’ stop (terminal 1 via CDGVal, terminal 3 and Roissypôle for the bus station). A lift is available in terminal 1 from 5.15am to midnight. The station at terminal 3 is on one level
  • The ‘Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV’ stop (terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G, and terminal 2F via the shuttle N2). A lift is available in terminal 2 from 5.15am to midnight
  • At stations, staff can install a removable ramp if you book assistance via the Assist'enGare platform at least 24 hours before your journey: by telephone in France by dialling 32 12 every day between 8am and 8pm (toll-free call from any operator, including mobiles) or from abroad by dialling +33 (0) 9 72 72 00 92 every day between 8am and 8pm (price of a local call), or on this digital form

💡 Did you know?

  • The Roissybus, which connected Opéra to the airport, will cease service permanently on 1 March 2026
  • A new bus route, line 9517, will take over, connecting the airport to Saint-Denis–Pleyel, with a quick connection to line 14
  • This transition coincides with the launch of the CDG Express, scheduled for 28 March 2027, which will provide a direct link between Gare de l’Est and the airport in 20 minutes, running every 15 minutes from 5am to midnight, every day of the year. Full-price single ticket: approx. €25. The entire line is accessible to people with reduced mobility and is designed to facilitate travel with pushchairs

📌Between Paris and Paris-Orly airport

👉By train by RER B and Orlyval

  • Orlyval to Antony then RER B (all stations are accessible)
  • Access to the Orlyval by Porte K from terminal Sud and by Porte A from terminal Ouest
  • You can use the Accès Plus service in France by calling 32 12, every day between 8am and 8pm (toll-free call from any operator, including mobiles) or from abroad by calling 09 72 72 00 92 every day between 8am and 8pm (price of a local call)

📌Between Paris Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris-Orly airport

👉By RER B inter-urban train and Orlyval

  • From Paris Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport to Paris-Orly airport: take RER B to Antony then the Orlyval, and vice versa

📌Between Beauvais-Tillé Airport and Paris

  • Aérobus shuttle between Beauvais Airport and Paris
  • Buses depart for the airport at least 3 hours before your flight
  • The Aérobus A01 shuttle between Beauvais and Porte Maillot will resume service on 14 December 2025.💡There are four other Aérobus lines - from Saint-Denis, La Défense, La Villette and Disneyland® Paris - between Beauvais Airport and Paris
  • Vehicles are accessible to people with reduced mobility
