Located opposite the Seine, in the 13th arrondissement, the Austerlitz station welcomes more than 20 million visitors a year. Trains depart from the station to serve central-western France and the Ile-de-France region (via RER C). Commissioned in 1840, the station was rebuilt between 1862 and 1867 and classified as a historical monument in 1997, notably for its facades and roofs.
