Marché Biron
85 rue des Rosiers - 93400 Saint Ouen
93 - Seine - Saint-Denis
Marché Biron, located in the heart of the Paris Saint-Ouen flea market, between avenue Michelet, rue des Rosiers and rue Biron, was founded in 1925. At the time, it saw the coming together of ragpickers and second-hand dealers who had left the area of what are now the Boulevards des Maréchaux after the demolition of the Paris fortifications. They obtained a plot of land on which to carry on their trade together.
Marché Biron takes its name from the street on which it is located. It covers an area of over 7,500 square metres and is organised into two huge parallel aisles, each 300 metres long.
When it was set up, Marché Biron sought to distinguish itself from its competitors by offering carefully selected goods that were referenced in the history of art.
Even today, it focuses on luxury antiques and exceptional objets d'art, making it a privileged place for collectors and lovers of antiques.
