_‘Tea is not only a drink, it is a way of life, a philosophy’ claims the Empire des Thés. Boasting no less than 200 different teas, the establishment, situated in Paris’s Chinatown, showcases the teas of China as well as the country’s culture. Harvested with the greatest care and with respect to tradition, the teas are divided into two different ranges: the Mixeo range includes blends that have predominantly floral, fruity, woody, or spicy whilst the Orichine range comprises plain teas (white tea, yellow tea, green tea, blue-green tea, red tea and black tea).
