A former hostess bar in the Pigalle district has maintained its decadent style, mixed with a subdued and comfortable atmosphere inspired by a New York venue. The owners tried to recreate the atmosphere of the Bushwick Country Club, including its English charm. In this red and black setting, the cocktails have mysterious names such as Johnny Thunders, Debbie Harry, Blues Explosion, etc. The concept behind the Pigalle Country Club is original because it’s not just a bar with music, but also a mini record label which publishes its own records which vary between rock (indie, pop, etc.) and electro-rock (punk). Every Wednesday, documentary-film nights are organized, with free pizza on the menu (one free pizza when you buy a drink) and DJ sets to follow.
