The Paris Fringe Festival has chosen Ground Control as its headquarters!
From September 9 to 13, 2026, the Paris Fringe Festival makes its grand return to the capital and sets up shop at Ground Control, which will serve as the event’s main hub from September 11 to 13, 2026. Inspired by the legendary Edinburgh Festival, this celebration of the performing arts and the independent theater scene offers an international, multidisciplinary program accessible to all: theater, comedy, dance, puppetry, and family-friendly shows. The 2026 edition will also highlight environmental issues through theatrical presentations and thought-provoking panel discussions.

The bars and restaurants
at Ground Control are committed to
sustainable dining practices,
with a focus on short supply chains
and a goal of obtaining
Ecotable certification for all

Ground Control is taking concrete steps
to limit its environmental impact:
• Complete elimination of single-use plastic
through a shared dishwashing station,
• Waste sorting and recycling,
including food waste,
• Reuse of materials and furniture
in the site’s design,
• Repurposing and reuse
of event signage,
The venue supports several
social initiatives:
• Support for organizations promoting
access to education,
• Collaboration with the Refugee Food
Festival to showcase the talents
of refugee chefs,
• Hosting awareness-raising workshops
(climate, biodiversity,
food, mental health).
