Paris je t'aime, the Paris Port Community and HAROPA PORT present "Taxi Boat Service"

Just a few weeks before the Paris 2024 Games, Paris je t'aime, the Paris Port Authority (CPP) and HAROPA PORT are presenting Taxi Seine Paris, a brand-new shuttle service on the Seine serving two ports of call: the Louvre and La Bourdonnais.

With 10 taxi-boats accommodating 6 passengers, this is a new soft mobility offer for visitors, linking two major tourist attractions: the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.

Taxi Boat Service is also a great way to enhance one’s Games experience, as this shuttle easily connects two major Olympic venues: the Concorde Urban Park and the Eiffel Tower Stadium. It's also an opportunity to discover SPOT24 – the Olympic exhibition, just a stone's throw from the La Bourdonnais stopover!

As easy to use as a taxi thanks to a digital booking service, all you have to do is select your journey on your phone, and the first available boat will be on its way! The maximum pick-up confirmation time is five minutes. Bookings can also be made 24 hours in advance at:

A project resulting from the 2021 Sustainable Tourism Conferences, the deployment of water taxis in the capital and the surrounding area will enhance mobility on the Seine. At the same time, river transport, which already consumes 4 times less energy than land transport, has embarked on a process of re-engining as part of a collective and voluntary initiative led by the Paris Port Authority (CPP) and HAROPA PORT: of the 150 commercial boats on the Seine, 40 have already been greened by the time of the Olympic Games, and the process is continuing.

This initiative, launched by the CPP's Small Boats Commission, is also a concrete demonstration of the desire to promote tourism along the Seine. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Seine offers a continuum of remarkable monuments and architecture, as well as unique landscapes that are particularly visible from the water.
It's an additional way for visitors and Parisians alike to get around the city and discover Paris in a different way.
