The Paris 2024 Games are a fantastic opportunity to raise the destination's profile and put hospitality at the heart of tourism issues. As part of a collective dynamic, Paris je t'aime presents the "Hospitality Manifesto".

With over 1,600 signatories, hospitality becomes a commitment for all: tourism players, tourism organizations, public authorities, residents and visitors alike, in a spirit of reciprocity.

Hospitality should be seen as a vector for economic growth and a virtuous approach that is both contemporary and universal. The term "hospitality" takes on its full meaning in today's fast-changing tourism sector.

"Hospitality is a major reputational issue for Paris and all the players in the tourism industry, in order to maintain our position as the most attractive city in the world over the long term, and to facilitate the organization of major events in the region".
Pierre Rabadan, President of Paris je t'aime

This Manifesto proposes avenues for reflection and concrete commitments in 2024, broken down by sector of activitý around 3 structuring axes common to all:

  • Accompany the destination's ecological transition, contributing to positive-impact, responsible and inclusive tourism.
  • Optimizing the visitor experience, providing a meaningful experience and restoring meaning to the term "guest".
  • Promote the local ecosystem, develop interaction with the local fabric, the link with the territory.

To complement these major commitments, objectives have been formulated for each sector of activity, to meet the specific needs and constraints of each: accommodation; catering; event venues; third-party venues; transport & mobility; culture & leisure; services; incoming agencies & event organizers; training.

In addition, institutions, professional federations and partners have come together in a Comité stratégique to participate iǹ the implementation and deployment of this Manifesto: the City of Paris, the Paris IDF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Metropole du Grand Paris, Paris je t'aime, Atout France, Choose Paris Région, Alliance France Tourisme, ADN Tourisme, the Confédération des acteurs du tourisme, UMIH, GHR, GNC, L'Évènement and Unimev.

To activate the deployment of the Manifesto and support professionals in their efforts, Paris je t'aime is setting up a network of information relays, communication tools, and a webapp: my.parisjetaime.com (bilingual) to facilitate the visitor's journey and experience.
