Avenue des Champs-Élysées, De l'Arc de Triomphe à la place de la Concorde - 75008 Paris
From October 22, 2024 to October 26, 2024
A show that celebrates the artistic trends of its time
Every year, since 1903, the Salon d'Automne created by the Belgian Frantz Jourdain has been held in Paris. It was first designed to offer opportunities to young artists and to bring the Impressionist movement to a wider audience. Why autumn? Because this allowed French and foreign artists to paint small scale works outdoors in the summer and then show them at this exhibition. Today, all the arts are represented: paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, drawings, books on artists, the applied arts ... in an temporary pavilion set up at the bottom of the Avenue des Champs-Elysées.
