Meet the artists and discover their production studios

The Association des Ateliers du Père Lachaise Associés (A.P.L.A.), created in 1988 under the French law of 1901, now brings together more than fifty visual artists based in the Père-Lachaise neighbourhood and the southern part of the 20th arrondissement of Paris. Every year, in May and November/December, the A.P.L.A. organises unique open days in Paris. These events offer the public an exceptional opportunity to visit the artists' studios in Père-Lachaise, discover often overlooked places of creation, and meet the artists directly in their working environment. Painters, sculptors, photographers, engravers, ceramists: a wide variety of artistic disciplines are represented. These artists share their passion, present their original works, explain their creative process and engage with an audience of curious contemporary and visual art enthusiasts and amateurs. This cultural event also allows new talents to exhibit their work for the first time and gain visibility in the art world. A real artistic event not to be missed in eastern Paris. To view the list of open studios, the exact dates of the next open days or for more information, visit the official website of the A.P.L.A. Association or local information points.
