Every spring, the Fête du Pain brings together food-lovers and the curious on the forecourt of Notre-Dame de Paris. At the heart of this ephemeral village, bakers from all over France unveil their artisan know-how through demonstrations and tastings. The event also celebrates French gastronomy with the presentation of the prize for the best baguette of Paris 2026 - awarded to Sithamparappillai Jegatheepan, artisan baker from the "Fournil Didot" bakery - the highlight of the week. In a warm, family atmosphere, with the scent of warm bread and exchanges with the craftsmen, this popular festival pays tribute to one of the emblems of France's culinary heritage.
