Musée des égouts de Paris

The Musée des égouts de Paris ('Paris Sewer Museum') offers a unique visit and insight into a key aspect of the City of Paris' sewerage system. The first part, in the so-called dry gallery, is dedicated to understanding the Parisian sewerage system: its history, the various jobs involved in sewerage, environmental issues and the water cycles at different scales. A second part in a wet gallery, in the heart of the sewer network in operation, provides access to the water reservoirs and galleries of the network, corresponding to an industrial site in activity.

Free for all under 18s and under 26s from the European Union.
Free for schoolchildren and leisure centres and accompanying adults.

Unemployed people

Included in the entrance fee, not guaranteed, depending on attendance and availability of museum staff.
