2 bis rue Maurice Denis - 78100 Saint-Germain-en-Laye
,
Maurice Denis (1870-1943) is the theorist of the Nabis group, who were artists that were considered precursors of modern art in the late nineteenth century (1888-1903). The painter acquired this house-studio in Saint-Germain-en-Laye in 1914. Built in the late 17th century and featuring a charming garden, the residence devotes its space to works by Maurice Denis and his contemporaries Édouard Vuillard, Pierre Bonnard, Redon Odile and more.
