Created in 1993, the Musée de la Magie introduces the public to a thousand-year-old secret art through collections that are unique in the world: optical illusions, interactive games and a permanent magic show...
The role of the Musée de la Magie is to show that magic is an art form in its own right, with its own history, techniques and ‘a real magic culture’.
Its collection captures the very essence of the art of magic and reveals its secrets and beauty. With the help of magician guides and after an illusionism show, you will be able to dream of magic once again.…
On the other side, in the Musée des Automates, some 100 automata offer many hidden surprises.
Visitors are invited to discover the strange and wonderful world of these curious mechanical objects, which are both toys and mechanical masterpieces. All the exhibits are a living testimony to man’s genius and imagination. By pressing the buttons that trigger each little character, one can discover the interactive surprises hidden in this amusing and unusual exhibition.
