CHURCH AND OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP

Église Notre-Dame de Lorette

18 bis rue de Châteaudun - 75009 Paris Montmartre - La Chapelle
Located between the Opéra Ganier and Montmartre, the church started to be constructed in 1823 under the reign of Louis XVIII, and was finished in 1836 under Louis-Philippe. Listed as a historical monument in 1984, the Église-Notre-Dame-de-Lorette is the most colourful church in Paris. Not to miss: the carpet under the main altar was created by the Manufacture des Gobelins, as well as the Virgin Mary and the oak pulpit.
