On July 17, 2026, the international community will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the inscription of “The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier” on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This anniversary holds special significance at the Apartment-Studio in the Immeuble Molitor, the architect’s intimate living and creative space. This space perfectly embodies the search for architectural solutions adapted to the changing needs of modern humanity. As Philippe Prost, President of the Le Corbusier Foundation, points out, these ten years of protection have fostered a greater awareness of the importance of this body of work and of sharing it with all users, residents, and visitors. This anniversary serves as a reminder of the long-term commitment of all stakeholders to meeting the challenges of tomorrow: large-scale restoration projects and inclusive outreach. To mark the occasion, a major international program of festivities is being offered, including a photo contest, educational activities for young audiences, exclusive tours, and lectures.
