Set off on the trail of Lupin during your event in Paris

‘Lupin’, the hit series of the new season 2021, now a worldwide success, transports us into a revisited version of the famous gentleman thief portrayed by Omar Sy. The series paints a superb portrait of the French capital, whose most iconic sights are shown across 5 gripping episodes. From the Louvre to Pont des Arts, the rooftops of Paris, Sacré-Cœur … a roundup of places to plan an event and set off on the trail of this already cult series.

The Louvre

The main backdrop for the first episode, the Louvre is where we first become acquainted with Assane Diop, a modern-day gentleman thief. The series does justice to the beauty of the place with sublime shots of the museum at night and a glimpse of the grand gallery that houses the Mona Lisa. What’s more, the famous architectural Pyramid by leoh Ming Pei is available for private hire for your corporate events! Situated just below, the Hall Napoleon welcomes your gala dinners for up to 1,500 people or your cocktail receptions for up to 3,000 guests.

An alternative to the Pyramid, at the heart of the Palais du Louvre: the Salles du Carrousel. A royal residence until the reign of king Louis XIV, they have retained some archaeological vestiges and host your events for up to 2,400 people for a cocktail reception. The entrance to the Salles du Carrousel is via Rue de Rivoli, a perspective on which the cameras of the director of the series linger.

Rue de Rivoli – The Westin Paris Vendôme

Still in the famous Rue de Rivoli is the nearby Westin – Paris Vendôme, a 4* hotel with an interior terrace and Second Empire-style reception rooms. The terrace, a haven of peace in central Paris, can be privately hired for up to 200 people for a cocktail reception and welcomes you in summer and in winter in a space that changes its appearance with the seasons. The reception rooms, including three historic ballrooms decorated with large wall paintings, can accommodate your exceptional receptions for up to 600 guests.

Petit Palais

Several of the Louvre robbery scenes were also filmed at the Petit Palais, at the reception on the ground floor where the viewer catches sight of the sculpture Le Fruit by Antoine Bourdelle. The Petit Palais has an 182-seat auditorium for your events as well as two very fine reception rooms with patio doors, the Galerie and the Pavillon Sud, which can host 300 and 600 people seated. In the summer season, the delightful exotic interior garden welcomes your receptions for up to 400 people for a cocktail reception.

Musée du Luxembourg

For his meeting with Anne Pelligrini, the gentleman thief played by Omar Sy chooses the Luxembourg Gardens, commissioned by Marie da Medici. In the gardens, the Musée du Luxembourg offers the opportunity to hold an event and take advantage of this magical green setting. All types of receptions for up to 200 people can be hosted in the Angelina tearoom, on the forecourt of the museum or in the Tivoli, a vast space whose façades evoke the hundred-year-old trees and paths of the gardens.

Sacré Cœur

Impossible for the series to miss out on the Sacré-Cœur! Assane Diop admires the building from his window but also during a vertiginous chase across the Parisian rooftops.

Pont des Arts - Monnaie de Paris

The famous Pont des Arts, a pedestrian bridge, recognizable by its metallic structure and level with the Institut de France, is also featured during the scene in which Assane is seen walking with his son.

To enjoy a view of the bridge, plan an event at the Salle du Conseil which has a secret terrace tucked away on the rooftops of the Monnaie de Paris. Offering a spectacular setting overlooking the Seine, it welcomes your events for up to 50 people. Other spaces at the Monnaie are available for private hire, notably the magnificent courtyards, for larger outdoor receptions for up to 900 people.

Parisian rooftops

A candidate for UNESCO world heritage status, the distinctive zinc and slate Parisian rooftops are firmly in the spotlight during an epic chase in which the chameleon-like Assane is pursued by a hitman.
