La Monnaie de Paris

11 quai de Conti - 75006 Paris Musée d'Orsay - Saint-Germain-des-Prés
The Monnaie de Paris is France’s oldest institution and the last factory still in operation in Paris.
Founded in the 9th century by Charles II the Bald, it has spanned every period of French
history. At its facility at 11 Quai de Conti, gold and silver coins are still minted today.
To share its tangible and intangible heritage with the public, the Monnaie de Paris has been open to visitors since 2017.
The entire site, covering 1.2 hectares in the heart of Paris’s 6th arrondissement, offers exceptional spaces to host your events.
This building, an 18th-century neoclassical masterpiece, reveals its many secrets: 5 inner courtyards, the majestic Guillaume Dupré Salon d’Honneur and its suite of ceremonial salons, a corporate museum dedicated to the craftsmanship of the Monnaie de Paris artisans with a unique exhibition design offering views of the art workshops…
Guy Savoy’s restaurant in the Salons sur Seine, the Café Frappé in the Cour de la Méridienne, and the Monnaie de Paris boutique can round out this bespoke event experience.
These spaces can be reserved for private events throughout the week, though availability depends on the institution’s cultural program.
