Discover Paris by the water

What better way to discover Paris than by the water?

And the Seine flows through the middle … a walk by the water is an absolute must!

Walk alongside the Seine, where the bridges and quays abound in monumental treasures: the Louvre Museum, admire the remarkable facade of the Musée d'Orsay and the dome of the Institut de France, marvel at the gilding on the Alexandre III bridge, the Notre-Dame-de-Paris Cathedral rising in the distance. Wave to the boats on the river and pause to admire the work of itinerant artists (notably from the Port du Louvre)

Also, don’t miss the picturesque Port de l'Arsenal, the bustling Bassin de la Villette, the Canal Saint-Martin and the Canal de l'Ourcq, which offer typically Parisian walks with a touch of retro.

And how about a bucolic lakeside stroll? Head to the Bois de Vincennes or Bois de Boulogne or the parks of Bercy and Buttes-Chaumont.
