In some of its cinemas, UGC shows 2 French films with French subtitles, twice a week, for people with hearing impairments:
Retour d'Image: is an association whose mission is to make Parisian cinema more accessible by offering screenings suitable for all audiences.
Walking in Paris with Mobile en Ville:
In Paris, a number of public transport services are accessible to people with disabilities, including metro line 14, bus and tramway services, as well as RER A and B services. These services include accessible ramps, reserved spaces and adapted trains. Please note that the bus line 40 and the RoissyBus are not fully accessible.
In Paris, several organisations, pharmacies, municipal services and cultural sites (during a visit) offer the hire of specialised equipment, such as wheelchairs, electric scooters or audio-description devices.
Paris je t'aime has created several self-guided walking routes that are accessible to all. The developed routes, such as in the Latin Quarter, in the Marais gardens or on the Île de la Cité offer a detailed itinerary for discovering these places on your own.
The disability card (beneficiary's name + disability logo + translation into English or French if necessary) is valid in Paris and entitles the holder to various reductions and benefits in transport, museums, theatres, cinemas and other public places. It also offers priority access and can include a companion.
