Rue du Nil

Located in the Sentier district, the Rue du Nil was once an entrance to the Cour des Miracles, a place of ill-repute where beggars gathered. Nowadays, this cobbled street with its colourful facades is a place where gastronomy has pride of place. You can find a variety of food shops: a bakery, creamery, greengrocer’s, butcher's, fishmonger’s, and grocery, as well as famous restaurants, such as Frenchie run by the chef Greg Marchand, with a star in the Michelin Guide.
