A popular place to shop, the Rue de Commerce is lined with a wide variety of shops. Starting at Boulevard de Grenelle and finishing at Rue des Entrepreneurs opposite the lovely facade of the church Saint Jean-Baptiste de Grenelle, it is 650 metres in length and interspersed with low-rise 19th-century houses. The many cafe terraces and the little public garden in the Place du Commerce are pleasant spots to take a break between shopping.
