Quartier Saint-Blaise - Saint-Germain de Charonne

Saint-Blaise et Charonne - 75020 Paris Père-Lachaise - Ménilmontant
Lying in the 20th district of Paris, linked to the 11th by the street of the same name, Charonne has managed to preserve the charm of a little country village despite its nearness to major buildings. With its own bell tower, paved streets, little restaurants and low buildings, the Quartier de Charonne was in fact an actual village before the growing Paris absorbed it in 1860. A real breath of fresh air in the middle of the capital, ideal for taking a different kind of walk in a little-known quarter. Suggested itinerary: rue de Bagnolet, Place Saint-Blaise and Eglise Saint-Germain and the cafés with their outdoor tables.
