The la Loire Quay is located in the 19th arrondissement of the capital. It runs along the Villette Canal Basin and continues as far the Rotonde de la Villete to the beginning of the Ourcq Canal. A lovely place for a stroll, it is livened up with a complex of several cinemas and numerous restaurants. It's particularly lively on beautiful days when Parisians and visitors take part in a game of boules, have a picnic or make the most of the river activities. This is also, after the quays of the Seine, the second site of Paris Plages, from the end of July to the end of August.
