Around the Télégraphe metro station, the Hauts de Belleville district is located on the Belleville hilltop, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. An ideal place for a stroll, this area has plenty of little streets, stone staircases, and delightful places little squares to visit. Some places are also worth a bit of a detour, for example rue des Cascades, rue de l’Ermitage, on which the Villa de l’Ermitage is located, and of course the delightful private road Cité Leroy. On Rue des Envierges, in line with Rue Piat, there is a magnificent panoramic view of Paris. At the bottom of Belleville hill, Belleville Park is a lovely green area (45,000 m²) for walking or relaxing.
